"A Place to Belong"

We are, at our core, a family related to one another by our faith and realization that we are all equal in God’s sight. All of us were sinners that were saved by God’s grace, not by the works we’ve done. Therefore, we understand that it is vital we support and help each other attain that position of grace afforded by the sacrifice Christ Jesus. We have small groups tailored to individual study and mutual support.

"Just as our bodies have many parts and each part has a special function, so it is with Christ's body. We are many parts of one body, and we all belong to each other."                                                                                                                                                                                 Romans 12:4-5

Who We Are

"A Place to Be"

Be Inspired – We enjoy a vibrant and contemporary worship. Current songs and a talented, spirit-filled team to lead us in praising the God of our salvation

Be Encouraged – Our people are friendly, non-judgmental, and welcoming. It is rare that a first time guest is not invited out to eat lunch with one of our members after the service! The atmosphere will be a welcome respite from the cares of the week that was and will strengthen your heart for the week to come.

Be Informed – Biblically based preaching and teaching are central to our service. We are a holiness people and believe it is important to know what we believe and even more important to know why we believe it. (See our statement of faith below.)

"And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near."
                                                                                                                                                                                                     Hebrews 10:25

Celebration Place Church of the Nazarene
Restoring Relationships with God

Why We Are A Place To Be, A Place To Belong, A Place To Serve

We are a part of the International Church of the Nazarene and ascribe to the Wesleyan doctrinal beliefs of the Church of the Nazarene.

  • We believe in one God-the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
  • We believe that the Old and New Testament Scriptures, given by plenary inspiration, contain all truth necessary to faith and Christian living.
  • We believe that man is born with a fallen nature, and is, therefore, inclined to evil, and that continually.
  • We believe that the finally impenitent are hopelessly and eternally lost.
  • We believe that the atonement through Jesus Christ is for the whole human race; and that whosoever repents and believes on the Lord Jesus Christ is justified and regenerated and saved from the dominion of sin.
  • We believe that believers are to be sanctified wholly, subsequent to regeneration, through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
  • We believe that the Holy Spirit bears witness to the new birth, and also to the entire sanctification of believers.
  • We believe that our Lord will return, the dead will be raised, and the final judgment will take place.

Celebration Place Church of the Nazarene was founded in 1999 with one purpose in mind; to reach the lost for Christ in York County. We have a casual atmosphere with contemporary praise and worship lead by our Praise Team.

Our congregation is one of the friendliest you will find. In fact we dare say "we are the friendliest church in York County". We have great worship, fellowship and a pastor that is truly anointed by God to share His message.

We believe that Celebration Place Church of the Nazarene is a great place for anyone who is looking for an alternative to the traditional Nazarene Church. That is what makes CPC a place to be, a place to belong, a place to serve.

What We Believe

"A Place to Serve"

We believe that every believer has a call upon their life to serve God. The Scriptures are obvious that every person who accepts God’s free offer of salvation is uniquely gifted with some talent needed in the Kingdom of God. We have several different avenues where you can find a place to employ your special gift for God.

"In his grace, God has given us different gifts for doing certain things well. So if God has given you the ability to prophesy, speak out with as much faith as God has given you. If your gift is serving others, serve them well. If you are a teacher, teach well. If your gift is to encourage others, be encouraging. If it is giving, give generously. If God has given you leadership ability, take the responsibility seriously. And if you have a gift for showing kindness to others, do it gladly."                                                                                                                                                                                         Romans 12:6-8
